Admission Criteria

The Programme admits:

  • Graduates of Surveying/Geomatics/Geoinformatics Engineering and other Engineering graduates of Greece
  • Graduates of other Greek Universities, primarily in the fields of Science and Technology
  • Graduates from foreign universities recognised by the Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Centre – NARIC (DOATAP), primarily in the fields of Science and Technology
  • Final-year undergraduate students from the above university schools or departments, provided they graduate before the start of the program in October.
Applicants should have proven knowledge of the English language. Additionally, it is necessary to have knowledge of basic Computer Science concepts and preferably a programming language or a computing/programming tool.

Admission process - selection criteria

For the academic year 2024-2025, the Postgraduate Programme in Geoinformatics will admit a minimum of 25 Postgraduate Students. The selection will be based on their qualifications as indicated by the documentation submitted, including their diploma/degree grade, relevance to the scientific subject of the Postgraduate Programme, expression of interest/motivation, work/research experience, English language proficiency, computer science skills, and reference letters. Candidates may also be invited for a personal interview, the outcome of which will further help assess the suitability of their profile for the Programme, and their ability to pursue postgraduate studies and research.

Tuition fees

Participation in the Programme does not require the payment of tuition fees for EU nationals. Non-EU nationals are required to pay a tuition fee of 500 euros per semester of study.
